Waste Recycling Centres
NYC is introducing a free registration scheme for the household waste recycling centres on Monday 27 April 2026. This will make sure that that the household waste recycling centres are only used by North Yorkshire residents who pay for the service through their Council Tax.
Registering will be free and you can do it online in a couple of minutes.

The Path down from the Church
The path has now been levelled and resurfaced. The boulders have been moved and the ditch has been cleared. We should be able to maintain this path now with a small amount of regular maintenance.

CPR
Yorkshire Air Ambulance have provided a free 10 minute video explaining CPR.

The NHS has provided details of its Choose Well Stay Well campaign to try and ensure that people can make the correct choices when they need advice or assistance.

The Centre for Aging Better have produced a booklet with ideas for producing Age-Friendly Towns and Parishes. The booklet can be accessed here.
