STANDING ORDERS are the rules of engagement for council meetings. These were approved and adopted by the council on 25 March 2025.
A CODE OF CONDUCT was approved and adopted by the council on 30 January 2024.
An INVESTMENT STRATEGY was approved and adopted by the council on 26 May 2023. Page 2 is here.
CLIMATE CHANGE. The council have a number if powers in respect of climate change. This is a summary of the relevant legislation.
OPENNESS AND TRANSPARENCY Councillors have a responsibilty to be open and transparent in respect of their personal interests. This is a government summary of those requirements. These interests must be registered with NYC.
FREEDOM OF INFORMATION. The Freedom of Information Act 2000 requires that the council has an obligation to comply with requests for information. This document sets out the council's policies in respect of this issue. Approved and adopted by the council on 22 March 2025.
